Sweet 16, Super Bowl XLVIII & One Day Above Zero

Bryn Mawr Sweet 16

Bryn Mawr Sweet 16Did my first Sweet 16 this past week and had a blast!  I would love to do more of them in the future.  The kids were on the dance floor the entire night.  I played a ton of Top-40 music, a couple of show tunes, some classic rock songs and The Beer Barrel Polka.

I’ve got a bar mitzvah on the horizon, and if the kids are half as energetic, it will be a great time.  I took a few short videos to prove to prospective clients that the DJ does not necessarily need motivators to keep the party jumping.

One Warm Day Between Storms

20140202_143233There was a single nice day this week.  We took full advantage and aired Sela out.  We went to Franklin Square which was much emptier than we thought, so, Sela had the run of the place.  She rode the swings, went down the slide and rode on the see-saw with some older kids.

Unfortunately, Sela got sick as the week went on, and it looks like the family will be passing the cold around for the rest of the winter.

Throwback Thursday

Looking back Super Bowl XLII when the Giants upset the undefeated Patriots.  I watched the game in Brooklyn with some good friends on a big screen.  When the Lombardi Trophy came out, we ran over to the screen and triumphantly hoisted it over our heads.

Here’s my photo album from that whole day.
